Acorn-fed ham (L)

50% Iberian breed.

8 - 8.5 kg

Iberian Acorn-fed Ham, 50% Iberian breed, is a cut that combines the intensity and character of the Iberian pig with the signature juiciness provided by the crossbreed.
Raised in privileged environments such as the Sierras of Huelva and Aracena, it develops unique nuances thanks to its microclimate. This ecosystem of holm oaks and cork oaks supports the animal’s free-range life and constant exercise, which contributes to optimal fat marbling in the meat. During the montanera, the pig feeds exclusively on acorns and natural pasture, a diet that gives the ham its prized oleic acid content, known for its health benefits. Its 50% Iberian breed status also allows greater intramuscular fat infiltration, resulting in a more tender bite.
AspectBright cherry red with very pronounced pearly white marbling. The fat is fluid and transparent to the touch.
ColorIntense, persistent, and with the characteristic slightly sweet touch of Huelva hams. It features nutty notes and a deep aroma that evokes the countryside.
TasteDue to the 50% genetics and curing in the mountains, the first contact is pleasant and slightly sweet. It is not an aggressive ham at first; it is very juicy, which immediately activates the taste buds.
